Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: elliptic;
    Ventral margin: approximately straight and irregular, with few denticles;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: slightly irregular;
    Excisura: moderately narrow, notch depth, angle acute;
    Antirostrum: short and pointed;
    Rostrum: large and pointed;
    Ventral depression narrow and shallow below ridge;
    Dorsal depression: narrow and shallow over ridge;
    Crista inferior: ridge-like and curved under the cauda, well developed under ostium;
    Crista superior: ridge-like and curved over the cauda, poor over ostium, absent at tip;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: short, oval, poorly defined posteriorly;
    Ostium: narrow and large;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Colliculum: homomorph;
