Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: massivesubquadrangular;
    Posterior margin: straight and oblique, with a well-marked postero-ventral angle;
    Ventral margin: slightly rounded;
    Excisura: very narrow, notch absent;
    Antirostrum: rounded;
    Rostrum: reduced;
    Ventral depression: absent;
    Dorsal depression: shallow and elongate;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed under ostium, moderately well developed along cauda;
    Crista superior: poorly developed over ostium, ridge-like over horizontal portion of the cauda;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: narrow horizontal portions continue with deeply incised and expanded vertical portion, strongly flexed in acute angle, somewhat recurved anteriorly in it posterior end;
    Ostium: very large, oblique and sub-quadrangular;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Colliculum: heteromorph, low anterior indistinct and posterior colliculi;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
